The beauty of roundabouts is even a corridor of oversized roundabouts is better than status quo corridor of bloated signalized intersections.

All good points - and the safety benefits of reducing high speed t-bone collisions at intersections whether from left turns or running red lights - both of which are eliminated using roundabouts.
